ALFSS Membership Information

Membership Application ALFSS Membership Application

There are three categories of membership in the Association:  Regular, Supporting and Honorary. All Membership fees are directed to the Operating Fund of the Association.  This is to maintain a fund for events and programs sponsored by ALFSS such as the Latino Graduation & Annual Scholarship Banquet.

Regular: A Regular Member is one who has completed, signed and submitted the necessary application form and paid the $20 annual non-refundable membership fee (Student fee is $5).  Membership fees can be paid by check (alumni/student) or through payroll deduction.  The $20 membership fee for faculty/staff/administrators using payroll deduction will be taken out during the month of December.  This fee will be used to maintain a fund that ALFSS can use for necessary operating expenses.  Contributions to the ALFSS scholarship can be made with your permission as a one time contribution by check, or on-going through payroll deduction.  Any amount listed above $20.00 on your payroll deduction will go towards the scholarship.

Supporting:    A Supporting Member is one who contributes a one time amount to the scholarship and is a faculty/staff/administrator/student/alumni of CSUSB who does not want to become a member of the organization.

Honorary:  An Honorary Member is someone who is not affiliated with the university and contributes to the scholarship fund or the association general fund.
